The ‘Ray Rice Jersey Burning Challenge’ has begun

After NFL fans had to digest the news of the entirely insulting two-game suspension that the NFL handed to Ray Rice for his involvement in a domestic violence case, the running back still had a sliver of credibility to salvage.

But that was before the footage of his attack on his then-fiancée was released.

Now that TMZ has fully exposed Rice, with the shocking security video of the player knocking Janay Palmer Rice out cold, the seventh-year player’s credibility is non-existent.

Media personalities have torn apart the league over the decision to hand Rice a more severe punishment, opposing fans have shuddered at the thought of seeing him play another game for Baltimore, and even current and former players have virtually killed Rice over Twitter.

Now, the running back will have to face it all without the support of his team, after he was released by the Baltimore Ravens today.

And his former fans have already begun to irradiate all symbols of allegiance with the player in the most profound way.
