Social Media Posts: Best Times to Tweet, Share, Post and Pin

To successfully optimize social media posts to ensure engagement and ROI, it’s critical that posts appear in your timelines and feeds during periods when your followers are typically online. In fact, one of the most popular questions among brands still struggling to achieve real results in social media is, “What time of day should we post?”

According to an infographic created by SurePayroll and Ghergich & Co, the best time to post on Facebook is between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., and the best time to post on Twitter is between Mondays and Thursdays between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

According to research compiled by Fannit, the best time to post on Facebook is weekdays between 6-8 a.m. and 2-5 p.m. The site recommends posting on Twitter on weekends between 1-3 p.m.
