The First Marijuana Commercial To Ever Air On Major Television Networks

A company that connects medical marijuana patients with doctors who can prescribe it will soon air the first marijuana ad to be seen on major TV stations.

ThinkProgress reports that the commercial, which attracts patients by portraying weed dealers as shady, will air in New Jersey on several national networks such as Fox, CNN, Comedy Central, Food Network and the History Channel.

Medical marijuana is legal in New Jersey, but the type of cannabis prescribed to kids suffering from seizures and other debilitating ailments is not yet generally available at the state’s dispensaries.
